Elf on the Shelf Breakfast

We have three little ones (6, 4, and 2) and Christmas is a big deal around here.  We love sharing with others and the special traditions that we have created for our little ones.  Every year, our Elf on the Shelf returns from the North Pole, to keep an eye on the kids, show them the meaning of Jesus during the holiday season, and of course, play funny jokes.

Each year, I have a fun North Pole breakfast for the kids, and the Elf brings them a letter from Santa about the meaning of Christmas, new Christmas PJs and a fun Christmas shirt.  For Breakfast, I usually make pancakes, and have powdered doughnuts, candy canes, hot chocolate with whipped cream & marshmallows, along with some fruit.  After we finish our North Pole Breakfast, we read the Elf on the Shelf book and they name their Elf.  This year, our kids decided to name their Elf, Colt 🙂

You can check my Instagram Stories (Magnoliagraceblog) and see what I have done each night with the elves.  Some are simple and some are funny. Either way, they love finding the elf each morning and seeing what the elf has been up too.

We have the Elf on the Shelf book, which comes with an Elf and you can find it HERE.  Between moving though, one year I couldn’t find the elf and had to get the stuffed animal version, which doesn’t come with the book.  This year, I thought I couldn’t find the elf and ended up finding him in the Elf on the Shelf book (Go Figure!) lol!

Here are some pictures from our Elf on the Shelf Breakfast! What are some of your ideas for Elf on the Shelf?
