Happy Wednesday friends! I’m always curious what people use on their hair and how they do it and figured you might be too.
Here is what I’m currently using and I will say it’s pretty minimum. I don’t like a lot of product in my hair. I want to be able to run my fingers through my hair and not get stuck. 😂
I have had my hair all different lengths, and really started growing my hair about 2 years ago. I get my hair trimmed every 6-7 weeks, and thankfully my girl does an excellent job trimming. I don’t like it when you go somewhere and you can tell you got a hair cut. I also probably wash my hair 2-3x a week depending on if I have something going on. It tends to keep well with less product.
I have A LOT of hair and it’s a medium thickness that can look thinner with a straightener. Occasionally, I will curl it and I’ll show y’all how in a later post. For me, keeping it straight works because it’s low maintenance. I recently started using the TRESemme product line and I have to say they have improved. A few years ago, they had one product that smelled terribly, but after smelling the shampoo and the rest of the products, I am so so glad they have improved them!! I haven’t tried the condition from the expert line, but it’s next on my list to get since my deep conditioner is almost out.
Shampoo – TRESemme Expert Repair and Protect 7 Conditioner- Aussie 3 Minute Miracle (I have been using this stuff since High School and it’s a great deep conditioner). If you need something less heavy, I would give the TRESemme Expert Repair and Protect 7 conditioner a go. Pre-Styling Spray – TRESemme Expert Repair & Protect 7 Heat Protect Spray – TRESemme Expert Keratin Smooth
Hairbrushes I use two hair brushes and both you can find at Target.
Wet Brush – I use this one to spread the pre-styling spray and give my wet hair a brush through
Conair Brush – This one I use with a blow dryer and the vents in the brush seem to make it dry a little better with some body.
My blowdryer is nothing fancy and one I picked up at Target. I do use the nozzle that has the narrow edge for directed heat. I will run a hair straightener through my hair afterwards and I have the NuMe brand one for a few years now and it works great.
