Workin’ It Wednesday {9.13.17}

The second Wednesday of every month is Workin It Wednesday with Mix and Match Mama and A Little Bit of Everything.  Every month you share how you “work it” whether it is decorating your home, school lunches, or fashion.

 This month is how you “work it” with transitioning your wardrobe from Summer to Fall.  Such a great topic, since in Texas it has been 60’s in the morning and 80’s by the afternoon so there is lots of transitioning!!

A green utility vest is a perfect transitional piece because it pairs well with just about everything.  You can throw it on for added warmth or remove it if the temperature heats up.

A tunic is a great transitional piece because it is lightweight, and can easily be paired with a cardigan, vest, or by itself.  I love how versatile it is, and that I can wear it during the summer or add layers and it works for Fall.

This sweatshirt from Old Navy is so soft that you will not want to take it off, like ever! This top will keep you warm and is perfect for those cool evenings at the football game or early morning soccer games.

A cardigan (similar) is a great transitional piece for those cool mornings.  I can easily take it off and my outfit still looks complete as the day heats up.

This sweater vest from Old Navy is another great piece to transition into Fall.  The vest looks great with a cami for a lighter option or you can wear long sleeves and carry this style into Fall or Winter.

An off the shoulder knit sweater paired with shorts is a favorite look of mine.  The sweater is light weight, but will still keep you warm.  I love it paired with shorts to transition from Summer to Fall or rock it with black or white skinnies for a Winter look.  And Yes, white after Labor Day is perfectly fine in my book!

What is your favorite transitional piece for Fall?

Happy Hump Day everyone, we are one step closer to the weekend!!
